Government contracting consulting and proposal design and writing! I’ve now accumulated 30-plus years of successful experience helping businesses enter the government contracting space. I see new AI sites popping up regularly — they promise to find opportunities (which they can) and deliver AI generated award-worthy proposals (which they can’t). No two government solicitations (RFP/Q/Is etc.) are alike and how they must be submitted run the gamut from snail mail to 800-plus questionnaire forms on proprietary platforms (and everything you can, or can’t, imagine in between). It really does take an expert (human) to make proposals 100% compliant with and responsive to each solicitation.

I’ve written proposals for every legal industry. It’s a complicated process that wastes the time of C-suite and management people every day. While the first proposal I write for a new client may take 10-20 hours, the next one will take half that time, and as the content base grows and is increasingly iterative, the hours involved decrease steadily. A professional (human) proposal writer is essential to ongoing awards and the only cost-effective option. It’s what I do now, and I love it (while almost everyone in business struggles with hates it).
